(Sorry about the toilet in the background, Thats embarrassing.)
I love doing yoga. It is fun and relaxing and , I burn tons of calories without breaking a huge sweat. This head band is soft and holds back my hair without giving me a head ache or slipping around. This is a really easy craft that I made out of a yoga shirt I already had but the sleeves were to short.
Supplies:
Cotton stretch fabric or old work out shirt
Two hair ties
scissors
Sewing machine
1. Cut two strips of fabric that has about three inches spaces between at the nap of your neck.
2. Sew the longest sides together inside out and turn right sides back out
3. fold your two your hair ties in a eight shape so the are combined and cannot come apart like in the picture.
4. Fold your short end edges under for a hem and pin the part of your hair ties that is not twisted together like in the picture. Repeat on the other end.
5. TIPS: I don't recommend going over your longest side again on the outside because it gets ripley. Also your might want to make your short ends go down narrower so they stay neat behind your ears. Other than that it is very fun to make even for kids.
