Frosting Recipes

This is my version of the not so classic vanilla icing this is so yummy you will be lucky if there is any left for  the cake at all. Don't let a drop go to waste.

(Not so) Classic Vanilla Frosting ( Sarah Style)

2 packages of cream cheese
1 tub of frozen coolwhip (thawed)
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c. fine granulated sugar (I like Domino's)

1. Soften the cream cheese in the microwave, about fifteen seconds each. Add that to the thawed coolwhip and mix with an electric mixer.
2. Add the vanilla and slowly add the sugar while mixing.
3. Use to frost a cool cake. This frosting is very yummy, cheap, and easy. This isn't a decorating frosting But really looks professional swirled on a cake and topped with fruit. This is best with vanilla cake or chocolate cake; but i love it with pound cake.
