Frosting Recipes

This is my version of the not so classic vanilla icing this is so yummy you will be lucky if there is any left for  the cake at all. Don't let a drop go to waste.

(Not so) Classic Vanilla Frosting ( Sarah Style)

2 packages of cream cheese
1 tub of frozen coolwhip (thawed)
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 c. fine granulated sugar (I like Domino's)

1. Soften the cream cheese in the microwave, about fifteen seconds each. Add that to the thawed coolwhip and mix with an electric mixer.
2. Add the vanilla and slowly add the sugar while mixing.
3. Use to frost a cool cake. This frosting is very yummy, cheap, and easy. This isn't a decorating frosting But really looks professional swirled on a cake and topped with fruit. This is best with vanilla cake or chocolate cake; but i love it with pound cake.

Valentines Day Cards

Happy Valentines Day. Have I ever mentioned this is my favorite holiday, I love how people plan ways to surprise other and give others gifts. Everyone seems to be more thoughtful and not expect all that much. This is the card I have made for my sister. I love the simplicity of it and how it is geometric with the swirly letters. I originally wanted to do a sewed card but ran out of time. Very sweet I think.

All that glitters is gold

I lately have had a love and attraction to all things glittery and golden. Maybe it's a phase maybe it isn't but My favorite in gold. It is such a romantic and beautiful color. It brings out the natural beauty in everything an is an awesome complement to green eyes. Most of my jewelry is gold at this point I think it is a very classy compliment to most everything. Hope you love these as much as I do.

This advice is so true I love these  my most favorite is the one that says keep calm and eat cake!

I would love to have a pair of toms these are adorable.
OMGEEEEE! SPARKLE CUPCAKES! (shrieking right now) How awesome is that.
